After the epic war with Thanos, Earth seems to have temporarily returned to peace. Peter (played by Tom Holland) returns to campus life, enjoying conversations with friends and having a crush on a girl. However, deep inside, he still cannot let go of his mourning for Iron Man. On his way to Europe for a study trip, Peter tries to find an opportunity to confess his feelings to the unique girl Michelle (played by Zendaya), but a series of elemental monsters disrupt his plans. During this process, the mysterious Mysterio (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) comes to the rescue, fighting off the monsters. Feeling unworthy of the responsibility, Peter declines Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson) and is willing to hand over the mantle of Iron Man's successor to Mysterio. What he didn't expect was that an even more terrifying crisis was about to unfold...
