The skin painter Que Yao Chang Mian is the best skin painter in the Skin Painting Workshop. She has been bound and enslaved in the Skin Painting Workshop since she was young, living a bitter life. When she was young, during an escape, she met the young general Shou Yang, whose warm care left a lasting impression on her. In a great battle, Shou Yang pretended to surrender to the demon clan, waiting for the opportunity to kill the demon king. The demon king ordered Chang Mian to capture Shou Yang's fiancée Qiu Sang as a hostage. After a series of events, Shou Yang brought Chang Mian back to the demon city, where Chang Mian took Qiu Sang's place as Shou Yang's wife. She painted her skin to become the demon king and went to meet Shou Yang, sacrificing her life to atone for her sins.
