The Christmas season is approaching, and tourists are starting to flock to the Christmas vacation town of Evergreen in northern Vermont. Katie Connell, a New Yorker and a writer who has published a novel, is among them. Now working freelance while contemplating the creation of her second novel, she is always prepared. This holiday is meant to experience more of life, as she believes it will make her a better writer. What started as a vacation ultimately turned into a work trip, as her mother, Patty Connell, an editor for a business magazine, asked her to write a story for immediate publication.
