The rooftops of Paris are covered with many desires, and Xiang Chen, Xiang Dong, Bi Xiu, and Jiang Peng are like fish pursuing those desires beneath the rooftops. One day, Xiang Chen receives a call from her former lover Jiang Peng, who has given up his career in Hong Kong to come to Paris and ask for reconciliation, but she rejects him, as her heart belongs only to one person - the artist Xiang Dong. Xiang Dong only maintains a physical relationship with Xiang Chen and does not accept her love, as he finds her too beautiful, viewing her as an eternally elusive world. In the end, Jiang Peng decides to pursue Bi Xiu, while Xiang Chen no longer waits for Xiang Dong, realizing that her love for him will never be reciprocated.
