In 1960s Hong Kong, the situation was volatile. On one hand, they had to endure the oppression of the British colonial government, and on the other hand, they were affected by movements from the mainland, while also facing the frequent typhoons and heavy rain. The old brand Yung Lee Street found itself at the center of this storm. The cobbler Luo family of four made their living by making shoes at the end of the street. Mr. Luo (played by Simon Yam) crafted excellent shoes, just enough to support his family during those chaotic times; Mrs. Luo (played by Sandra Ng) was sharp and straightforward, earning the nickname "Sister Luo the Rogue." Their eldest son, Luo Jin Yi (played by Pakho Chau), is 16 years old, academically excellent, the champion of sporting events, the hope of the family, and the pride of Yung Lee Street; their younger son, Luo Jin Er (played by Tsui Kam Kong), 8 years old, was spoiled by his parents, mischievous by nature, and known for his pranks... This family, struggling to make ends meet, found joy in their togetherness. However, the pure first love between the elder son and the wealthy young lady Fang Fei (played by Cally Kwong), a hurricane sweeping through Hong Kong, and a long-hidden nightmare suddenly bring a turn of events that shatters this ordinary family's peace and happiness overnight... How should the resilient and unyielding people resist the greatest "thief" of all, time?
