In 2011, Japan experienced a powerful 9.0 magnitude earthquake, and the Fukushima nuclear leak caused nuclear radiation to blanket the country. Jia Jia (played by Liu Yan) risks everything to visit her fiancé's family in Japan. Upon arriving at the Akaiishi hot springs at the foot of Mount Fuji, she is imprisoned by local villagers, enduring a dehumanizing life. The timid Hong Tai can only drown his sorrows in alcohol. Jia Jia's close friend Wei Ling (played by Cheng Li Ting) resolutely goes to Japan to find her. With the help of investigator Kinoshita (played by Li Can Sen), the investigation deepens, but the surrounding environment becomes increasingly perilous. Hong Tai is strangled in the hot spring, Michiko descends into madness due to extreme fear, and Seiko, though lucid after an attack, is unable to communicate. Takun often spies on Wei Ling through door cracks, while the residents under the shadow of nuclear radiation gradually lose their humanity, ready to tear the outsider Wei Ling apart like hyenas... As people around them die one by one, the horrific events escalate. There is an even greater secret hidden behind all of this...
