Zhi Zun Bao (played by Stephen Chow) is transported 500 years back in time by the Moonlight Treasure Box, where he meets Zixia Fairy (played by Athena Chu). He is marked as her person and realizes he has transformed into Sun Wukong. Zixia and Qingxia (also played by Athena Chu) are originally the wick of the Sun and Moon Divine Lamp at the feet of Buddha (Zixia during the day, Qingxia at night). Although they share the same body, they harbor deep hatred for each other. Therefore, Zixia vows that whoever can pull out her purple and green sword will be her beloved. Zhi Zun Bao accidentally pulls out the purple-green sword, and Zixia decides to offer herself to him, but Zhi Zun Bao, who is deeply infatuated with Bai Jingjing (played by Karen Mok), rejects her. Later, the Bull Demon King saves Zixia, who is lost in the desert, and forces her to marry him. At a critical moment, Zhi Zun Bao appears.
