Synopsis

This is a ghost film set against the backdrop of a battle between police and gangsters. The film tells the story of Officer Gao Tianjin, who is pursued by his former colleagues and subordinate Sha Tianyou due to his suspected collusion with the underworld in smuggling weapons. During the chase, both sides hesitate to shoot at each other due to their past roles. At this moment, Sha accidentally rescues the female ghost Xiao Lian from a banana grove, which helps ease the awkward situation for both men. After some negotiations, Sha orders Gao to submit all criminal information about the gang leader Wang Tianlong within a month to clear Gao's name. However, the police station does not agree with Sha's approach. Sha's cousin, who is an assistant at the police station, is dissatisfied with Sha's repeated failures in handling cases and decides to assign someone else to take over this case. In his anger, Sha Tianyou feels gloomy all day long, while only the female ghost Xiao Lian occasionally comforts and helps him out of his troubles. Unbeknownst to them, the two develop feelings for each other over time, forming a love story between a human and a ghost...
