Moonlight Love

Through the emotional entanglements of the main characters Ayiao and Akun, the different fates of two generations of Hakka people across the strait are alternately presented, infused with the longing and nostalgia of the older generation of Hakka, while radiating the optimism and fashion of the new generation. The drama is also interwoven with beautiful and melodious Hakka mountain songs, which not only fully showcase the cultural landscape of Hezhou and the customs of the Hakka people but also allow people to appreciate one beautiful Hakka mountain song after another. This film will serve as a tribute to the 24th World Hakka Conference and the 10th anniversary of Hezhou's city establishment this year. Our city aims to use this film to promote Hakka culture while fully demonstrating the economic and social development of our city, showcasing our social progress, ethnic culture, and local customs and practices, to promote Hezhou and enhance its reputation and influence. The film's director Yao Yan expressed that she was moved by the simple and hospitable nature of the people of Hezhou, and with its rich tourism resources, she hopes to use 'Moonlight Love' to promote Hezhou.
