There is a theory that suggests: there are multiple parallel worlds in the universe, and in each parallel world, there exists a version of you. All the versions of yourself across these parallel worlds share the total energy that you possess in the universe. Therefore, if all versions of you in the parallel worlds disappear, all that energy will converge into the last remaining person. For this purpose, to seize everyone's energy, a killer named Gabe (played by Jet Li) travels through time and kills 123 versions of himself from different parallel worlds, gaining superpowers in the process. At this moment, only he and another version of himself named Gabriel (also played by Jet Li) from a peaceful world remain. Gabriel, living in a peaceful world, is completely unaware of the impending disaster.
