On the morning of her 16th birthday, Lila accidentally overslept a little, just like usual, but today was slightly different; no one knocked on her door urging her to wake up quickly. When she finally became aware, she found that her parents were nowhere to be found. Lila stepped outside only to discover that not only her neighbors, but the entire town, community, and even the whole city were devoid of any living souls—everyone had vanished.
