A sudden and powerful evil force poses a fatal threat to Earth, and no superhero can stand against it alone. The SHIELD, which has long been dedicated to protecting global security, is caught off guard. Its commander, Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson), realizes that he must create the "strongest alliance in history" by gathering superheroes from all sides to fight together and save the world from peril and resist the invasion of dark forces. Thus, the "Avengers" were formed, consisting of six superheroes - Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (played by Chris Evans), Hulk (played by Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johansson), and Hawkeye (played by Jeremy Renner). They each display their unique powers, unite as one, and ultimately defeat the evil forces, ensuring the safety of Earth.
