Two years after the 'Sokovia Battle', Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth) sees through Loki's (played by Tom Hiddleston) disguise and eventually finds Odin (played by Anthony Hopkins) who has been exiled to Earth. However, the dying Odin informs his two sons that 'Ragnarok' has begun, and the goddess of death, Hela (played by Cate Blanchett), who was once banished by Odin, is about to return to Asgard. In their first confrontation with Hela, Thor loses his hammer, and he and Loki are thrown onto the chaotic planet Sakaar. In the arena of Sakaar, Thor reunites with the long-lost Hulk and meets the Valkyrie, who has spent her life escaping from Hela's grasp.
