Synopsis

JR (played by Brenton Thwaites) is a small-time delinquent who spends his days drifting aimlessly and getting into trouble. He ends up in prison in Western Australia, a notorious gathering place for local criminals, due to theft. Inside the prison, JR's life takes an unexpected turn as he suffers severe abuse and torment from other inmates, until a big boss named Lynch (played by Ewan McGregor) can no longer stand by and steps in to take JR under his wing, bringing an end to JR's tragic days. With the clever JR's help, Lynch successfully escapes from prison, and during this process, they build a genuine bond like father and son. They collaborate with Eastern European crime lord Knox (played by Jacek Koman), making a fortune, while JR also meets a girl named Tasha (played by Alicia Vikander).
