Sylvester Stallone serves as the behind-the-scenes screenwriter, strongly supporting action hero Jason Statham. The bald powerhouse bravely ventures into a drug den, and the story is based on a novel by Chuck Logan, telling the tale of Phil Broker (played by Jason Statham), a former DEA agent who moves his family to a quiet town in hopes of escaping his past. However, he discovers that this town is ruled by violence, drug dealers, and an evil power figure named Gator (played by James Franco), and he must fight against Gator to protect his family.
