The Girl Who Travels Through Time

In beautiful Sydney by the sea, Abijia is a charming but sentimental girl. Unlike other girls of sixteen or seventeen, Abijia, whose feelings are awakening due to her parents' failed marriage, is reluctant to interact with boys of her age, even turning down the pursuit of a nice boy named Nobi. One Friday evening, while playing with her sister Natoli at home, Abijia picks up a lace scarf that had fallen on the ground. The next day, wearing the lace scarf, Abijia is transported to another world when she touches the hand of a barefoot girl while chasing her. When Abijia wakes up again, the girl named Betty tells her that it is September 1873 in Sydney town. Looking at the kind grandmother, the lovely Betty, the handsome brother Jode, the terminally ill cousin Jed, and the unfamiliar surroundings, Abijia longs to return to her mother. However, without Betty's help, Abijia's wish to go back is merely a fantasy. After this, Abijia experiences a thrilling escape and kidnapping. After being rescued from a brothel by Betty's brother Jode, Abijia discovers that she has secretly fallen in love with Jode, who is about to marry a girl named Duowei. But just as Abijia and Jode share their feelings by the sea, Betty's father, Mr. Sani, triggers a fire during a drunken frenzy. In a critical moment, Abijia climbs over the wall and rescues Jed, who is about to be consumed by the flames, allowing him to recover his health. After the fire is extinguished, Jode returns to Duowei, while Abijia is sent back to the real world by the combined magic of the grandmother and Betty. Back in the real world, when Abijia sees Nobi again, she is surprised to find that Nobi is the handsome young man Jode she fell in love with in September 1873 Sydney town.
