Lola is a broke single mother working as a cleaner and a maid. Silvia is pregnant, but her lover (who is also her boss) refuses to leave his wife. Recently widowed Mette finds herself broke but wants to maintain her dignity by throwing a lavish wedding for her daughter. Meanwhile, punk kid Pejorata living in a youth center is about to be kicked out of his home. Lola cleans a bank every morning and decides to rob it, persuading others to join her: they will use fake guns, disguise as men, and take Silvia hostage; everything will go smoothly. However, things go wrong, including Lola's ex-boyfriend Gustavo unexpectedly being a police officer. Desperation may be the mother of invention, while the corrupt bank manager is the father of invention.
