Dior's apprentice, 21-year-old Yves Saint Laurent, was suddenly given the responsibility to become Dior's youngest chief fashion designer. His personal debut collection 'Trapeze' made a stunning impact, capturing the world's attention and leading to his encounter with Pierre Bergé.
