Paul Conway designed and built a thinking robot named 'BB'. BB is understanding and likable. On Halloween night, Paul, Tom, Samantha, and BB planned to take advantage of the festive spirit and break into the front yard of the old maid Miss Elvira Parker. Unexpectedly, she acted irrationally and shot BB, shattering it, leaving only the computer chip intact. Soon after, Thanksgiving arrived, and Paul invited Samantha to dinner. As a result, Samantha was pushed down the stairs by her stepfather, suffering a severe head injury that led to her being diagnosed as brain dead and beyond saving. With Tom's help, Paul implanted BB's microchip into Samantha's brain, bringing her back to life. However, she entirely adopted BB's thought process, and BB harbored a grudge against Samantha's stepfather and Miss Elvira Parker, leading to a quest for revenge...
