Synopsis

A Ren (played by Sammo Hung) from a bakery, A Shen (played by Tsui Hark) from a trailer factory, and A Qing (played by Teddy Robin) lose their jobs due to a minor car accident. A Ren has to lie to his mother who raised him alone, while A Qing follows his friend A Shen back home and temporarily lives under the same roof. The saying goes that you don’t know a person until you’ve fought with them; as a result of this incident, the three of them become good friends and eventually start working at a noodle factory owned by the emperor. However, on their first day of work, they encounter problems. The workshop director (played by Ng Man-tat) and the factory manager show favoritism, turning the truth upside down in an attempt to expel the three of them as scapegoats to protect a woman who made a mistake. Thanks to the help of the chairman's daughter, A Mei (played by Joey Wong), they manage to keep their jobs. Henceforth, the three good friends, along with A Mei, engage in a humorous battle of wits against the corrupt factory manager and his gang...
