 Synopsis
On a night with dark clouds and strong winds, Qi Jinrong (played by Leslie Cheung) is driving alone on the road while a ghost story is playing on the radio. Suddenly, the car veers off the track, and Qi stops to check. When he gets back into the car, he is surprised to find a pure-looking woman in a white dress (played by Cherie Chung) in the back seat! After getting out of the car, the woman in white suddenly leans in to give a passionate kiss to the startled Qi. After taking her to a dance hall, she mysteriously disappears. After that encounter, Qi becomes infatuated with the image of the beautiful woman and returns to the same place the next day to search for her. To his shock, he finds only a grave. Despite his friends saying that he encountered a ghost in broad daylight, Qi cannot forget the woman in white. He waits on the street for several days until he finally spots her again, only to find out that she is the lover of the billionaire Cao San (played by Wong Kim-fung). Qi decides that regardless of whether she is human or ghost, he will pursue her with unwavering dedication...
