A teacher named Sakiko Kurata (played by Yuki Kazamatsuri) receives a phone call concerning one of her former students. The young girl, Sueko (portrayed by Ayako Ôta), is accused of prostitution and has reached out for Sakiko’s assistance. Sueko has a tendency to seduce strangers for sexual encounters without asking for payment. Although Sakiko has relocated to a different town and struggles to recall Sueko, there is something about her that stirs up painful memories of Sakiko's own hidden past. What is the unusual smell of paint thinner surrounding Sueko? Who is the man in the nylon ski mask who assaulted Sakiko many years ago? As Sakiko seeks to uncover the truth, she realizes that her past might have unintentionally shattered another family's prospects.
