In a country not of present-day Japan, where demonic spirits roam, lies the "Hōen-koku." Here, there exists an exorcism organization called "Guren," which conducts intelligence activities and fights against demons to protect the peace of the people. "Rekka," a member of Guren, encounters an attack by demons during a mission and gets separated from her comrade "Tsukikage," whom she has admired like an older sister since they trained together in their childhood. Having barely survived, Rekka finds that even "Haruka," who took care of her while she was unconscious, has been taken by the demons. Rekka curses her own helplessness and, together with her companions "Akane" and "Ayano," heads toward the demons' lair to rescue the girls who were captured.
