Elle Fanning will star in the new Hulu series "The Girl From Plainville". The show is based on the true story of Michelle Carter, who was infamously convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2017 for texting her boyfriend to commit suicide three years earlier. Liz Hannah (The Washington Post) and Patrick Macmanus (Dispatches from Elsewhere) will co-write the series.
