Judith Fontaine (played by Regina Carroll) is searching for her sister Joanne, who has gone missing in the hippie community of Venice, California. It turns out that Joanne has become a victim of Groton (played by Lon Chaney). Groton is a madman wielding an axe, who works for Dr. Durell (played by J. Carroll Nash). Dr. Durell is actually the last member of Frankenstein, who now runs a haunted house by the seaside and is conducting experiments using Groton's victims. One night, Count Dracula (played by Zandor Vorkov) visits the doctor and shows him the original Frankenstein buried in a nearby graveyard. The doctor resurrects it and uses it to take revenge on his professional rivals. This is a classic thriller directed by Al Adamson, with a bizarre and wild style.
