"The Ballad of the Black Prison" is set in the mid-1990s, with the story's protagonist, Christina, being an honest and dedicated lawyer. She discovers that her estranged brother is imprisoned and is the leader of a growing criminal gang. At the request of the police, she becomes an informant to deal with the brother she has always admired. However, as she infiltrates the brotherhood, she begins to question what justice and fairness really are.
