A catastrophic event has destroyed civilization. Thousands of years later, humanity has adapted and evolved new ways of survival. Today, massive mobile cities wander the Earth, mercilessly consuming small traction towns. Tom Natsworthy (played by Robert Sheehan), from the lower tiers of the great traction city of London, finds himself fighting for survival after encountering the dangerous fugitive Hester Shaw (played by Hera Hilmar). Two completely opposite people, who shouldn't have met, unexpectedly form an alliance, destined to change the future.
