'Fallen Camellias' is set in the Edo period, with Junichi Okada portraying the protagonist, one of the dojo's famous 'Four Heavenly Kings.' After exposing his superior's misconduct, he is expelled from the clan and returns home to fulfill his late wife's wishes, depicting the conflict between the samurai and the clan's corrupt behaviors as well as the power figures. Junichi Okada began his training for fight scenes three months in advance to portray this role. In the film, Hidetoshi Nishijima will play the protagonist's rival, who is both a friend and adversary during their dojo days.
