Li Bihua's Ghostly Series: Fantasy Night in Cantonese

"The Pillow Demon" follows a story where, after a harsh argument, the boyfriend Ruan Haokang (played by Lin Jiadong) goes missing. The distraught Zou Jingyi (played by Chen Fala) is frustrated and unable to find her boyfriend, resulting in insomnia at night and a dazed state during the day. To find some sleep, she buys a medicinal pillow from a grocery store, only to discover that alongside her restful sleep, bizarre dreams also quietly arrive; "Hide and Seek" involves a primary school that is about to be demolished. Coincidentally, it's her friend Ceci's upcoming birthday, and friends who once studied there, including Feiqiang (played by Chen Yaorong), decide to return to the school for a celebration. However, they ignore the advice of the school caretaker Uncle Chen (played by Li Hanchi) to leave before dark and end up playing ghost-catching games in the pitch-black school building. Unbeknownst to them, another 'friend' joins their group; in "Black Umbrella," a destitute Hong Kong government official walks through muddy streets in the midst of a ghostly encounter on the 14th day of the seventh month. Lin Bo (played by Teddy Robin), a hunchbacked figure, walks through the pale alley, lamenting the state of humanity in an age where kindness has withered. He acts against the disbelief in ghosts and karma, neglecting the repercussions of his actions before and after death. He strives to do good until he encounters a streetwalker (played by Mo Yiwen), and everything suddenly changes.
