The drama tells the story of a serial murder case that broke out in Wangye Town in 2008, where Tongliu Aoi lost her family, friends, and love, and her father was arrested as a suspect. Sixteen years later, detective Aoi returns to her hometown to investigate the truth and discovers that a classmate may be the suspect, while her partner, Kousaka Kei, is suspicious of Aoi and keeps her under surveillance. During the investigation, she reveals the truths about her classmates and Kei's past, as well as the connection between the two incidents. Subsequently, a truth hidden for 16 years comes to light.
