Joseph Steadman (played by Ray Liotta) is a middle-aged man who is struggling with his family life and has a strained relationship with his daughter. One day, he is kidnapped by a mad scientist, who forces him to become a subject for experimentation. Unexpectedly, the results of the experiment grant him devastating superpowers.
