Rei (played by Mizuki Seitou) is a girl who runs a taiyaki shop by herself, and Kousei (played by Taiga Nakano) is a biological archaeology assistant who often visits her shop. The strong and beautiful Rei gradually catches Kousei's attention, making him want to know more about this girl. As time goes by, the interactions between Rei and Kousei become more frequent, and their lonely hearts draw closer together. Just at this pivotal moment, an accident occurs. Rei is injured in a car accident, causing her to lose a small portion of her memory, specifically the memories about Kousei. To help Rei recover, Kousei stays by her side every day, trying everything he can to awaken the memories of himself in Rei's mind.
