The 19-year-old girl Jin (played by Felicity Jones) loves skateboarding and is a former skateboarding champion. However, after an accident leads to the unfortunate death of her mother, Jin has to give up skateboarding and starts working to help support her father. By chance, a friend introduces her to a job at a ski resort in the Alps, as a previous employee had broken a leg, and Jin reluctantly agrees. Yet, having never skied before, Jin seems out of place with everything around her. Bored, she begins to self-learn skateboarding outside, and when Micky (played by Ken Duken) sees her, he offers to teach her how to ski and discovers Jin's amazing talent, recommending her to enter a competition. Sure enough, Jin lives up to expectations and wins both the championship and a cash prize. Just when everyone thinks Jin will excel in skiing, she realizes that every time she jumps, she remembers her mother’s accident. This psychological shadow always hinders her skiing, and her budding romance with Johnny (played by Ed Westwick) is also strongly opposed by his mother. Overwhelmed by troubles, Jin starts to contemplate leaving and going home. However, her father encourages her to stay and try competing again, reminding her of her late mother's expectations. Will Jin be able to overcome her obstacles and win in this competition?
