Ruth (played by Gabriela L. Ross) is a massage therapist. One day, while he is giving Anna (played by Molly Parker) a massage, his teenage daughter Reiche (played by Nadia Litz) is strolling in the park with Anna's little daughter, who is just learning to walk. Unfortunately, Reiche gets separated from the child and ends up lost herself. While looking for the child, Reiche encounters Rupert (played by Brendan Fletcher), a voyeur, who teaches her how to find pleasure by observing. Robert (played by Daniel McIvor) is a house cleaner with an unusual sense of smell; he believes he can smell love, so he starts to take action, meeting up with his former lovers one by one to sniff out their feelings for him and to discover the reasons for their breakups. Robert’s friend Rona (played by Mary Louise Parker) is a baker who lacks inspiration due to her profession. Recently, while vacationing in Italy, she meets Roberto (played by Marco Renatti) and becomes romantically involved. Richard (played by Philippa Walton) is an ophthalmologist with hearing issues, who meets a woman who helps him appreciate the beauty of life during his moments of despair.
