He is the typical playboy, very skilled with women, working on advertising soundtracks, hardly working yet making a lot of money, with a constant flow of beautiful women and music being the theme of his life. However, the appearance of Alan disrupts his blissful single life. Alan has been kicked out by his wife and is living with his brother Charlie. His job is a massage therapist. He is a responsible husband who is obedient to his wife, but his whiny character and sticky temperament remind people of Tang Seng. He keeps trying to reconcile with his wife, and even after separating, he often goes back to do housework, but she announces that she is a lesbian. They have a son, Jake, who is chubby and adorable, and although he is very young, he is somewhat lecherous, devouring anything he can find. His seemingly foolish wisdom makes him a highlight of the show, not losing out to the two adult male leads. He could rival the likes of Caillou. Notably, there are several supporting characters that create shadows for the brothers regarding women: a devilish mother, a harsh ex-wife, a stuck-up cleaning lady, and Rose, their neighbor who stalked Charlie for two or three years after spending a night with him.
