In a rural area, a young boy named Banduo dreams of becoming a soccer star, bringing great honor to the people of Africa like the Cameroonian legend Roger Milla. Despite his family's poverty, while helping with farm work he also attends school, Banduo is determined to earn money to buy a real football. Fortunately, he received a gift from a female doctor: an old leather ball. When the sunlight hits this ball, it looks like a golden soccer ball. Banduo loves this football dearly, seeing it as the key to opening another world. However, playing with it caused a fire. Banduo fled his hometown to showcase his soccer talent in Conakry, the capital of Guinea. There, he was temporarily away from soccer and was forced to work to make a living. With the help of friends, he was able to watch a real football match and took the opportunity to display his soccer skills. After training at a football academy, Banduo finally proved his talent on the field, even though his agent gained him entry to competitions through unscrupulous means.
