The soon-to-be-retired Sergeant Qianyu (played by Gao Gengpiao) has always been stationed near the border between South and North Korea. One day, by chance, he picks up an unclaimed lottery ticket, which unexpectedly turns out to be a jackpot winner. Unable to keep the news to himself, Qianyu quickly informs his colleagues, but the excitement doesn't last long. During a mission, a gust of wind carries the ticket over to the North Korean side, where it is picked up by soldier Yonghao (played by Li Yigeng). Qianyu refuses to simply give up the huge prize he has just won, so he tries everything to get in touch with Yonghao. As Yonghao is in North Korea and cannot claim the ticket, he suggests sharing the prize money if he is to return the ticket to Qianyu's group. To prevent Qianyu from running off with the ticket, Yonghao and Qianyu switch identities; Yonghao impersonates Qianyu to claim the prize money in South Korea, while Qianyu stays behind in North Korea, waiting for news of Yonghao's return.
