Two Asian comedians, Bowen Yang (SNL) and Joel Kim Booster (Big Brother and Sister No Promising) will star in the gay-themed romantic comedy "Fire Island".The film makes "Pride and Prejudice" a modern new compilation, telling the story of two friends going to the famous gay paradise "Fire Island" in Long Island, New York for a week's vacation, accompanied by cheap wine and a group of eclectic friends.Produced by Searchlight Film and JAX Media ("Reincarnation Party"), directed by Andrew Ann ("Drive Lane" and "Sauna Night"), Booster also acted as the screenwriter. Filming will start in August and will be launched on streaming media in Hulu (US) and Disney+'s Star (parts of the world outside the United States).
