Set in the American West during the 1880s, the outlaw Frank Griffin (played by Daniels) embarks on a manhunt for his former teammate turned enemy, Roy Goode (played by O'Connell). Roy is hiding in a ranch, and Frank's pursuit leads him to the mysterious town of La Belle in New Mexico, where all the residents are women.
