"Victim" is created by Rob Williams, the screenwriter of "Killing Eve," inspired by his experiences as a social worker in various prisons. This drama will depict the terrifying yet darkly humorous reality of life for prison guards in a 21st-century British men's prison. At the center of the story is Leigh, a female prison guard struggling to cope, who has dedicated her adult life to the prison and its troubled inmates. Despite her area being overcrowded and mired in the disasters caused by decaying bureaucracy and short-sightedness, the things Leigh does for these inmates go far beyond her duties. But Leigh also has her own secrets and a past, and if discovered, the price she pays might be more than just losing her job. The newly arrived young guard Rose has her own agenda; will her loose tongue spell doom for Leigh, or could she unexpectedly become a savior?"
