The eight-episode television series "Humans," produced by the award-winning AMC, known for its four-time Emmy Award-winning best series "Mad Men," two-time Emmy Award-winning best series "Breaking Bad," four-time Emmy-nominated series "The Killing," and Golden Globe-nominated best series and the most-watched show in the U.S. "The Walking Dead," in collaboration with Channel 4 in the UK, which produced the BAFTA-winning best television series "Utopia" and "Top of the Lake," will premiere in the U.S. on June 28th at 9 PM. This new sci-fi series is adapted from the critically acclaimed Swedish award-winning sci-fi series "Real Humans" and is rewritten by British writers Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley (known for "Spooks"). The series is set in a world where the robot Synths are widely used by busy city dwellers, depicting the thrilling conflicts, psychological shocks, and moral questions that arise as the boundaries between humans and robots become increasingly blurred.
