Pan (played by Levi Miller) lost his parents at a young age and grew up in an orphanage, where he is the typical "problem child." Pan loves freedom and has all sorts of strange and whimsical ideas in his head. He is always causing trouble and mischief, which gives the orphanage director quite a headache.One night, Pan unexpectedly arrives in a magical world called "Neverland," where there are pirates, warriors, and fairies he has only seen in storybooks. In Neverland, Pan meets the warrior princess Tiger Lily (played by Rooney Mara) and Captain Hook (played by Garrett Hedlund), who are waiting for the arrival of a mysterious figure wearing a pan flute necklace. This mysterious person will lead them in a fierce battle against the evil pirate Blackbeard (played by Hugh Jackman).
