In the previous installment, the supercomputer "Skynet" failed to stop the birth of human resistance leader John Connor. Thirteen years later, before "Judgment Day" arrives, "Skynet" sends a more advanced synthetic robot, T-1000 (played by Robert Patrick), back from the year 2029 to Los Angeles to kill the now-grown John. At the same time, John sends back the robot T-800 (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) to protect his younger self.At this time, Sarah Connor (played by Linda Hamilton) is institutionalized due to her strange behavior.
