Electric wire repairman Wang Xiaopo (played by Zhu Yuchen) is a helpful young man, but being a post-80s generation, he has a low income and cannot afford the down payment for a house. This point makes his girlfriend Zhang Li's parents very unhappy, and they quickly arrange blind dates for their daughter. However, the daughter believes her boyfriend is quite good and ignores them. Stimulated, Xiaopo takes up a job making a prop armored vehicle with the help of friends, striving to prove his abilities.
