Legend has it that drinking water from the Holy Grail, used by Jesus at the Last Supper, grants immortality. During a gold-digging expedition, a stone tablet recording the existence of the Grail was discovered, attracting a large number of crazed people eager to search for it. Dr. Indiana Jones (played by Harrison Ford) is one of them, and even his father, Old Jones (played by Sean Connery), gets involved—though he goes missing after leaving Jones a note about the Grail. Upon arriving in Venice, Jones meets with the prearranged Dr. Schneider (played by Alison Doody), and they follow clues to find the Holy Shield in a library, only to be inexplicably chased by the Brotherhood of the Crossed Swords. After a series of setbacks, Jones finally finds Old Jones, while Schneider's Nazi identity is revealed, and the notes are stolen. The Grail could fall into Nazi hands at any moment. Thus, the Jones father and son duo begin a thrilling adventure to save the Holy Grail!
