Demon Beast City

The story takes place in a future world where A Long (played by Li Ming) and A Qiang (played by Jacky Cheung) are special police officers tasked with capturing demon beasts. However, their boss (played by Yuan Pei Ping) highly values A Long while being very suspicious of A Qiang. Unable to bear it, A Qiang gets drunk at a bar but finds comfort and support from his girlfriend (played by Li Ruotong). However, a shadow looms over him—A Qiang's mother is also a demon beast, a secret he eventually reveals to A Long. A Long, in turn, confesses his past relationship with the demon beast Huan Ji (played by Li Jiaxin)...Later, during an operation to capture Yuan Dazong (played by Nakamura Tatsuya), A Long reunites with Huan Ji, who has now become Yuan's wife, leading to a series of misunderstandings in a moment of urgency. In truth, Yuan Dazong is a demon beast that wants to cooperate with humans, but another faction of liquid demon beasts is wreaking havoc in the city. Throughout the battle against the liquid demon beasts, A Long and Huan Ji's relationship is tested through life and death. Meanwhile, Yuan Dazong's son, Gui Zhong Dao (played by Zhang Yao Yang), schemes to sow discord and intends to eliminate humans, while A Qiang also discovers a traitor in the special police unit...
