 Synopsis
The Soviet version of the story of 'Robin Hood'. The protagonist, working in an insurance company, can deduce which clients are fraudsters or corrupt individuals because he has access to their financial data. By day, he is a nine-to-five office worker, and by night, he is a 'car thief'. He 'robs and extorts' the cars of those bad people and donates all the money he gets anonymously to charity. He soon encounters a problem: his best friend is a police officer who is trying hard to catch the car thief... Currently, I have seen Liang Zhanov's best work, a story about an urban rogue in a Russian version, simple yet exquisite, with a tight plot and rich characters. Most of the comedic segments can transcend language barriers.
