 Synopsis
16-year-old girl Suzanne is tired of her peers' boring parties, and everything changes when she unexpectedly encounters 35-year-old theater actor Raphael at the theater she passes by on her way home from school. This is the directorial debut of Suzanne Linton, the daughter of French celebrity couple Sandrine Kiberlain and Vincent Lindon, who also stars and writes the film. With dynamic cinematography, it captures the sensitivity and reckless impulses of a pubescent girl, accurately depicting her desire for adult life and her fear of growing up, while using dance to enhance the character's joyful emotions or the connection of intimate relationships, making it visually pleasing. The film was selected for the official lineup of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival and received a nomination for Best New Director at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
