For the residents of South Port, Katie (played by Julianne Hough) is a big deal. Although this young and beautiful girl is polite and beyond reproach, speculation and doubts about her never cease. For Katie, the free and peaceful South Port is a great place for healing. However, no matter how far one escapes, one cannot escape their past, and Katie is no exception. The more she tries to forget the terrible things that happened, the more she is haunted by those memories, so she understands that South Port is not a place for her to stay for long. In South Port, Katie meets the handsome young man Alex (played by Josh Duhamel), whose gentle care shakes Katie's resolve to leave.
