Peacock’s hit one-hour series, set in modern Los Angeles and modeled on the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince, tells the complex journey of Will from the streets of western Philadelphia to the Belaire mansion in a new dramatic perspective.As the two worlds collide, Will not only deal with the very different conflicts, emotions and prejudices of this world from what he is familiar with, but also think about the power of a second chance.Season 2 of "The Wonderful Things" tells the crossroads of Will's life: a new character breaks into his life, challenges the knowledge he learned in Belaire and fights for control of his influence.Will struggled to deal with it all while dealing with family life with the Banks family and working to rebuild trust that broke down at the end of last season.We will see Will and Carlton’s brotherhood warm up as they grow closer, but there are still differences between them.We will also see Hillary’s evolution as she gradually becomes a boss in the internet celebrity circle and how this evolution affects her relationship with Jazz, while also focusing on the empathetic struggles of Weif and Phil working to open up their career paths and reconnecting to what’s important to them while balancing marriage and family.Inspired by a viral trailer by Morgan Cooper, which reimagines the iconic, culturally defined 90s sitcom, Belaire presents this world of swagger, style and aspiration in a fresh and original way, while exploring Will’s complex journey through a modern perspective.The series has a strong cast, bringing in new star Jabbarry Banks, who plays Will, and a creative team that includes show co-ordinator, executive producer and writer Cara Banks Wardles and Cooper, who serves as executive producer.
